My father played beach football at 85th Street in 1970s Miami. Across the line was Steven Hunt Grabow — the best-dressed, most coordinated guy on the sand, an Aspen ski instructor once on the cover of the town phone book. My middle name came from him. The story of the name, and why it was always going to be Aspen.
