East Aspen Aspen Real Estate (2026)
Riverfront and estates toward the pass
East Aspen real estate. Riverfront homes and large estate parcels along the Roaring Fork toward Independence Pass. Roughly $1.5M–$300M.
The Lifestyle
East Aspen runs from the edge of the Central Core east along the Roaring Fork River toward the Northstar Preserve and the wilderness of Independence Pass. It holds some of the valley's most coveted riverfront, with subdivisions like the Aspen Club, Stillwater, Knollwood, and Mountain Valley set against open space and direct access to the East of Aspen Trail into town. Along the Stillwater stretch of the river, paddleboarding, kayaking, and fly fishing happen at the back door. Parcels range from townhomes near the core out to some of Aspen's largest private estate lots, and the area has carried several of the market's ultra-high-end trophy listings. The mix of older rustic houses and new contemporary builds keeps it architecturally varied rather than uniform. It tends to draw buyers who want river frontage, acreage, and quiet, with an easy walk or short drive back to downtown.
