Porsche Design Tower
Sunny Isles · 18555 Collins
The Porsche Design Tower at 18555 Collins is the original car-elevator building that set the template for every branded-residence tower that followed in Sunny Isles — including Gil Dezer's own Bentley Residences three blocks north. Developed by Dezer Development and delivered 2017. The 60-story tower uses Dezer's patented Dezervator to deliver residents and their vehicles to their units; each of 132 residences includes a glass-walled sky garage with space for two to four cars, visible from inside the unit through interior glass. Sieger Suarez Architects designed the exterior with Porsche Design Studio collaborating on the facade detailing and the in-unit garage finishes. Resales clear $5M – $20M and the building has held value remarkably well in a category where many branded peers have not — David's resale comp pull on the Porsche shows units trading at 2017 launch pricing or above eight years later, which is essentially flat in nominal dollars but a real-dollar floor in a market that depreciated other 2017-vintage Sunny Isles inventory. The architectural moat is the patent on the Dezervator: Bentley Residences is the only other building with the system, which keeps the Porsche scarce by structural definition. For David's clients with serious car collections — the Singer 911 buyers, the air-cooled Porsche set — this building is the only product in Miami that solves the storage problem inside the unit.
"The original car-elevator building. Set the template for everything that followed in Sunny Isles."
