The Perigon Miami Beach
Mid Beach · 5333 Collins
The Perigon Miami Beach at 5333 Collins is OMA's first ultra-luxury residential project anywhere in the United States — that's Rem Koolhaas's Office for Metropolitan Architecture, the firm behind the CCTV Headquarters in Beijing and the Seattle Central Library. Co-developed by Mast Capital (the same Camilo Miguel Jr. behind Cipriani Residences Brickell) and Starwood Capital (Barry Sternlicht), the project is two 17-story oceanfront buildings connected by a sky bridge with a residents-only restaurant on top. Tara Bernerd designed the interiors — same firm as Perigon's sister branded-residence projects. 73 oceanfront residences, not the 82 some early marketing pieces cited, priced from $5M for a junior two-bedroom up to $45M+ for the trophy penthouse. Per-square-foot pricing has run in the $3,500–$5,500/SF band, which makes it one of the highest-priced Mid Beach launches ever — a clear bet on the Faena District as the price-per-foot anchor for the entire 33140 ZIP. Amenities include a 200-foot lap pool, an Augustinus Bader and Cetaphil-branded spa floor, and a speakeasy. Topped out March 2026, with delivery targeting 2027. For David's clients comparing Perigon against Edition or Faena resales, the math comes down to whether OMA's architectural premium holds at resale the way Foster + Partners' has at Faena House.
"OMA's first U.S. residential. Two oceanfront buildings connected by a sky bridge with a private restaurant for residents only."
